Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters
One of the most popular pro-am golf tournaments in the country, the Hootie & the Blowfish Monday after the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am Golf Tournament attracts thousands of people who enjoy the music of the two-time Grammy award winners, as well as the friendly competition between the band and their celebrity and professional friends.

The tournament weekend is filled with food, celebrity appearances, comic relief, musical performances and of course, lots and lots of golf. However, behind all of the glitz, these celebrities and pros are coming together for a special cause, the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation. Over the past 17 years, the tournament has donated more than $5 million to the foundation and the South Carolina Junior Golf Association, an organization that has been rated among the best of junior programs in the country.

Every year, stars from music, television, movies, sports and professional golf travel down to Myrtle Beach, SC ready to relive the magic of MAM. In the past, MAM has hosted the likes of actors Bill Murray and Samuel L. Jackson; LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam; NASCAR driver Kyle Petty; PGA Tour pro John Daly and Woody Austin; singers Javier Colon, Charles Kelly and Edwin McCain; the University of South Carolina's head football coach, Steve Spurrier and many, many more. Fans from all around come to support the cause and mingle with the celebrity-studded crowd.

In addition to the golf tournament is the much anticipated Hootie & the Blowfish performance at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach. Darius, Mark, Soni and Dean come together for a show based around philanthropy and friends. In such a casual atmosphere, it isn't surprising that fellow artists hop up on the stage for an impromptu number or collaboration on the spot. One thing is for sure, there is never a dull moment at the Monday after the Masters weekend.
